The Canadian singer Nelly Furtado announced through his account of Twitter that will donate the million dollars that received four years ago to act in Italy at the request of the family of the Libyan leader Muamar the Gadafi.

“In 2007 I received a million dollars of the Gadafi clan to act during 45 minutes before guests in a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate that money”, explained in its account of Twitter the singer.

Furtado avoided to indicate, nevertheless, before whom it acted in 2007 and it did not detail either to what organization will donate the money that says the family of Gadafi paid to him. The announcement of the Canadian takes place after several means, among them the magazine Rolling Stone, would detail names of well-known artists who have acted for members of the family of Gadafi in exchange for great sums of money, between which they emphasize Mariah Sea turtle, Beyoncé, Usher and 50 Cent.

That magazine assures that, before the situation that crosses Libya at the moment, numerous members of the record industry now press those artists so that they give back the money who received of the Gadafi by their activities.

It emphasizes the million dollars that, according to the magazine, Sea turtle received to act before Muatassim Gadafi, son of the Libyan leader, in a celebration of Nochevieja in a Caribbean island, as well as the great numbers which also Beyoncé and Usher would have received to do the same the following year or the one that would have pocketed in 2005 50 Cent by a concert for that same son in Venice.

Some of those names also appeared in cables of the Department of State disclosed recently by Wikileaks, but the name of Nelly Furtado had not appeared between the numerous singers who had accepted to be engaged by Gadafi, reason why seems that the Canadian has wanted to go ahead to the events.

The regime of Muamar the Gadafi is pressed by the international community more and more so that it changes of attitude before the popular rebellion against his regime that is lived in the African country, where confrontations between their those in favor and opponents take place.
