Although “Lost”, one of the series with more success of the last times, already has arrived at its aim, the race of Evangeline Lilly (Kate in the series) has not done more than to begin. To her 30 years, the actress is happy with this new stage of her life in which she wants to dedicate itself to realise humanitarian workings, and to write, one of her great passions. Of all this and much more the handsome actress has spoken to us who, in the fiction, managed to conquer the heart of the lady's men Jack and Sawyer.
Your life has changed much since you began to work in Lost?
My life has changed completely. She was a different person completely, but the way has not been easy and it took long time to me to adapt new life to me. In both first years of Lost, I fought to maintain to me afloat. It did not know what to make nor how approach my new life of famous personage. She was very estresada and he was not nothing happy. It wanted to leave the series.
How you feel now that the series has been finished?
It is a bittersweet sensation. When we were rolling the last season, it distressed to me to think about the end because it knew that it was going to miss to everybody. The people of Lost - as much the distribution as the equipment became my second family and have been very important for me. In the last six years there are past bad moments when we rolled the series and they have supported to me at any moment. All they took care of to me so the goodbye was very sad. The influence knew that the series had in my life and that was going to feel a great emptiness when it finished. But the end of the series also had positive things. To return to recover my life is a wonderful sensation. I know that I can leave to the world and enjoy all the wonderful opportunities that east work has offered me. And that is brilliant. I have 30 years and all the life ahead. To return to begin is wonderful.
There is life after “Lost”?
I do not have concrete plans, but I either do not like to make great you plant. Attempt to take the opportunities and I go where it takes the wind to me. During one decade I was dedicated to humanitarian works abroad, so I will return to work in that field. In fact I have left never it but now I can spend several months working in humanitarian projects instead of to contribute from far. Also I am going away to center in writing. It enchants to me to write. In fact, it is my great passion, so I am going to try that they publish to me.
What you write?
I write of everything, fiction, prosa, scripts, fairytales, poetry, novels and also short stories. I write mainly of everything and. I so have ideas in the head that I need the hours to write them, so now I will have time to center to me in which I like more.
Like writer, how you would have written the end of the sixth season?
I will never be around the scripts of Lost. Nor with a pole of 3 meters. I admire very many our scriptwriters because she had never been able to write what they have created. It is outside my reach. They are very intelligent and I cannot compete with them. If you play the Trivial one with the scriptwriters of our series, they annihilate to you. They have very many information in its heads besides intelligence, I devise and ability to work.
Beams exercise for mantenerte in form?
Before it made much more exercise that now. It used to run much and also it raised weights, it made abdominal, sentadillas and all type of exercises. (...) Interpretar to served me to Kate to maintain to me in form. During the first seasons I did not realize the good thing that it was because was a fanatic of the exercise. It trained so much outside the plates that the exercises that it had to do for the series were eaten bread. But since then I have included/understood the difficult thing that it is to run by the forest. No longer one occurs me so well.
In your personal life, who you would like more, Jack or Sawyer?
I do not have personal preferences. I do not believe that it can say to me that I like the bad boys or the good boys. The bad boys always are attractive. To that they dedicate themselves, to attract the women because they start up pheromones and the enchantment. The good boys take care of to you, are to tier to us and sensible and that also is very attractive. But the certain thing is that I cannot show preference for neither.
